This is the result of grain testing from India.

Tested with Cake & Chip Type.

Used Model: SYP4506 & 5804T Rice cake machine

Popping test for chips with Indian grains

Test material

Origin: India

Type: Rice, Wheat, Broken corn, Bean (Soya & Dal)

A total of 6 ingredients were tested using 5 kinds of raw materials and local rice.

The picture below is a picture of the tested Indian grain popped chips.

The broken corn was larger in size than the other raw materials,

There was no problem with the test. But for production, the size of the corn should be smaller.

Test 1 (3 mix) (Corn, Rice, Wheat)

Expansion force of raw material is good.

Both cake type & chip type were able to produce, but it was more stable in production as chip type.

The corn is too big to supply raw material. A smaller corn size will improve product quality.

Test 2 (3 mix) (Corn, Rice, Soya 5%)

Expansion force of raw material is good.

Chip type were able to produce well.

The corn is too big to supply raw material. A smaller corn size will improve product quality.

Test 3 (3 mix) (Corn, Rice, Dal 5%)

Expansion force of raw material is good.

Chip type were able to produce well.

The corn is too big to supply raw material. A smaller corn size will improve product quality.

Test 4 (2 mix) (Broken Rice, Soya 5%)

Expansion force of raw material is good.

Chip type were able to produce well.

It might be possible to increase the % of Soya more than 5%

The reason we use broken rice is to adjust the size of the raw material to be similar. If the sizes are the same, the raw materials can be prevented from gathering together.

Test 5 (3 mix) (Corn, Rice, Wheat)

We tested chip and cake type using SYP4506 model.

The corn is too big to supply raw material. A smaller corn size will improve product quality.

Test Model: SYP4506 rice popper

This models can produce wheat cake or chips with 2,160 ~ 3,000 pcs per hour with different setting.

Test Model: SYP5804T rice popper

The SYP5804T model is a model that produces 58mm triangular rice or corn chips. This model produces 1,440-2,056 pcs of rice chips per hour. It is mainly used to make triangular corn chips.

Corn is mainly used as a raw material for triangular popped cake or chip products.

And after popping, various seasonings are added to make the popped product.
