Test of Rice cake machine by 3 differnt grains
We tested grains such as Kamut, Millet, Corn, Quinoa and Amaranth sent from Germany using SYP9002, SYP4506 Rice cake machine.
Kamut, Millet, and Corn can be used 100%, but Quinoa and Amaranth must be used as they rot with other grains, so I mixed some of them with Millet and tested them.

We tested Kamut and Millet as chip type using SYP4509 model.
1. Millet(80%), Quinoa(17%), Amaranth(3%)
A mix of Millet, Quinoa and Amaranth seems to be better without Amaranth. It doesn't pop well, but it seems that we can make a chip by adjusting the conditions.

We tested Kamut and corn as cake type using SYP9002 model.
3. 100% Kamut by A Type (Not Bad)
Type A is used to produce thick products. It can produce popped cake products with a flat and thick surface.
4. 100% Kamutby B Type (Good)
Type B has an uneven surface (depending on the raw material) but can produce crispy popped cake products.
5. 100% whole popcorn by A Type (Not Good)
Type A is used to produce thick popped cakes, but corn may stick to the mold or break when expanded, so it is not used often.
However, it can produce crispy corn cakes when produced with Type B.
P.S: Whole popcorn may cause machine stop when used as raw material. That's why we recommend using 3-6mm Broken corn.
6. 100% whole popcorn by B Type (Good)
Type B is used when using raw materials that stick to the mold, such as corn or buckwheat. Or to make a more crispy popped cake.
